It's that time once again where we have the chance to look back over the past year. Although the pandemic is (thankfully) more in the rear-view mirror, its effects continue to be felt, especially in the area of supply chain, which created substantial challenges for all of us in completing projects. Nonetheless, we had the opportunity to serve over 80 organizations this year in a variety of ways: audio, video display, video livestreaming, platform lighting, LED retrofit, architectural control, and acoustical treatment systems and installation; repairs to existing systems, support, and live production and event management.

At the end of each year, we try to look back and recount all of the wonderful organizations and people we've had the chance to work with that year. 2020, honestly, was a roller-coaster, as it certainly was for all of us. From a great start, to the world suddenly and dramatically changing with the onset of the pandemic, a shutdown for almost two months, a complete evaporation of our live production events schedule, then a shift to helping churches and other organization move online into a virtual and livestream environment, and finally on to the busiest year of systems installation and integration work we've ever had. I (Michael) am just now catching up enough to post this list in the middle of February 2021!

Over the past two weeks of the coronavirus pandemic, we'ved worked and consulted with a myriad churches of many widely differeing traditions to implement, set up, and tweak video capture and livestreaming setups. While this has become the pressing conversation in our work most recently, this not a new area of focus or a one-off type of work for us at Somerset Media Group, where we've implemented livestream solutions for dozens of churches and campuses of all sizes for several years. We get to celebrate the new friends we’ve made and new places we’ve been, and the happy returns and revisits to old friends.
